Plugin privacy

This page describes the separate Qook plugin operated by Akshay Dewalwar. It covers the plugin's hosted tools and recipe-card interface.

What the plugin receives

When ChatGPT calls a Qook tool, the plugin receives the tool inputs needed for that task: meal-planning preferences (including any allergies, dietary goals, available ingredients, meal comments and pantry choices you provide), optional nutrition estimates, or a structured meal plan containing recipe names, serving counts, ingredients, quantities, and instructions. Only information sent in those tool calls reaches the plugin. Qook does not request access to your full conversation history, ChatGPT memories, payment details, or Qook account.

How it is used

Inputs are processed to return planning guidance, display meal cards, and combine matching ingredients into a grocery list. This release has no user database, account login, advertising, or analytics integration. The application does not intentionally retain tool inputs or log request bodies. It does not sell tool inputs or use them to train a model.

Hosting and ChatGPT

The service runs on Vercel, which processes requests and may retain technical request information such as IP addresses, request paths, and operational logs under its own policies. ChatGPT separately handles your conversations and tool results under your OpenAI settings and policies. Qook does not control either provider's retention.

Temporary interface state

Grocery checkmarks and other interface selections are temporary state in the displayed widget. They are not saved to a Qook account. Reloading or replacing the widget can reset them.

Optional actions

Meal comments, recipe-video and fridge-photo actions send a follow-up request to ChatGPT. The meal-image panel provides a prompt to copy and send yourself; opening or copying it does not generate an image. Upload fridge photos through ChatGPT, not this plugin; the Qook server has no image upload or recognition endpoint. Confirmed ingredient descriptions may later be included in planning tool calls. Optional grocery handoff uses another connected service only if available and requested. Copy/share actions export the displayed plan or list at your direction; review the content and recipient first.

Your choices and contact

Share only what is needed to plan meals. Do not submit medical records, credentials, or other sensitive documents. Stop using or remove the plugin to stop future tool calls.
